We make whisky to be savoured slowly, in good company and in moderation. We are committed to marketing and selling our products responsibly.
Our commitments
- We sell alcohol only to people aged 18 or over and verify age online and in person.
- We do not target our marketing at under-18s and follow the Portman Group Code of Practice and the UK advertising codes.
- We never encourage excessive or rapid consumption.
- We encourage tour guests to drink responsibly, and we offer water and food alongside tastings.
Know your limits
The UK Chief Medical Officers advise that men and women shouldn't regularly drink more than 14 units of alcohol a week. Don't drink if you're pregnant or planning a pregnancy, if you're driving, or if you're taking certain medication.
