1. About us
This website is operated by Princetown Distillers Ltd ("we", "us"), trading as Dartmoor Princetown Whisky, of Station Road, Princetown, Devon PL20 6QY. You can contact us at info@dartmoor.com or on +44 (0) 203 371 86 56.
2. Age restriction
You must be 18 or over to buy alcohol from us, to take part in tastings, or to enter the site. We may ask for proof of age on delivery, on collection and at the distillery. We will not release alcohol to anyone who cannot prove they are of legal age.
3. Orders and contracts
When you place an order you are making an offer to buy. A contract is formed when we send you a dispatch confirmation. All prices are in pounds sterling and include VAT where it applies. We may refuse or cancel an order if the goods are unavailable, there is a pricing error, or we suspect fraud or that the order is for someone under 18.
4. Bookings and experiences
Experiences are subject to availability. You may cancel or move a booking free of charge up to 48 hours before it starts; after that the fee is non-refundable. We may need to reschedule for safety, weather or operational reasons and will offer an alternative date or a refund. Lead bookers are responsible for the behaviour of their party.
5. Gift cards and vouchers
Gift cards and experience vouchers are valid for the period shown at purchase, cannot be exchanged for cash and are not replaced if lost or stolen.
6. Cask sales
Cask reservations are enquiries subject to a separate written agreement covering ownership, duty, storage, insurance and maturation. Whisky is not a regulated investment; the value of a cask can go down as well as up, and past performance is no guide to future returns.
7. Intellectual property
All content on this website, including the Dartmoor Princetown Whisky name, logo, text and images, belongs to Princetown Distillers Ltd or its licensors. You may not reproduce it without our written permission.
8. Third-party links and affiliates
Our site links to third-party businesses, some via affiliate links. We are not responsible for their content, availability or terms, and any purchase from them is a contract between you and them.
9. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or anything else that cannot legally be limited. Otherwise our liability is limited to the price of the goods or services you bought.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, although if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings in your home courts.
11. Demo notice
This proof-of-concept website does not process real orders or bookings. No payment is taken and no personal data is stored.
